Daniel Joseph Rolling Sr., 79, of Martins Ferry, Ohio, died April 18, 2025, at home.

He was born November 26, 1945, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Clement and Rita Denk Rolling.

Daniel honorably served his country in the Air Force during the Vietnam War era. After his service, Daniel was a hard-working land manager for North American Coal for many years before retiring. In his spare time, Daniel was a devoted Pittsburgh sports fan, cheering on the Pirates and Steelers.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Rita Rolling, and his brother, David Rolling.

Daniel is survived by his son, Dan Rolling Jr; daughter Dana Rolling (Jeff Krone); his sisters Jean Ann (Bob) Walls, and Karen Rolling (Ernie); and his grandchildren Ethan Rolling, Grady Rolling, and Jay Krone.
