Daniel L. Butler Sr., of Jacobsburg, Ohio, died August 9, 2019 in Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV.

He was born May 16, 1951 in Barnesville, Ohio, and raised by the late Bernard and Freda Butler.

Dan was a retired coal miner having worked at Century Mine and Enlow Fork Mine and he was owner and operator of Dan's Karaoke.  He was an avid outdoorsman and deer hunter.

Surviving are his fiancée, Diana Martin; six children, Tamera (Robert) Kucera, Sandra Stachyra, Christina (Doug) Farmer, Daniel (Jenny) Butler Jr., Scotty Butler and Kasandra Butler; eight grandchildren, Kristin (Dustin) Ashland, Hannah and Paris Stachyra, Kaitlyn (Michael) Smith, Hunter and Holly Butler, Shelby and Madison Farmer; two great grandchildren, Natalie Farmer and Gracelyn Smith; and close friend, Rick (Linda) Moore; several half-brothers and sisters.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, Ohio where services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Tony Huntsman officiating.  Burial will follow in Powhatan Cemetery.
