Daniel B. Williams, 61 of Flushing went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 30, 2007 while at home surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born February 9, 1946, a son of the late Bert and Frances Williams.
He was a retired electrician from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel?s Martins Ferry Plant with 39 years of service.
Dan served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of American Legion Post 366.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Williams; sisters, Patsy Burke and Nora Lou Williams.
He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Kathy Twarog Williams; children, Michael (Chris) Patterson, D.J. (Angie) Williams, Heather (Patrick) Stitt of Flushing, and Sean Williams of Florida; a brother, Dick (Marcia) Williams of Flushing; 3 grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua, and Katie.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. where services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jack McKimmie officiating.
Flushing American Legion services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
