Obituary

Everett Dale Watson, Jr., 74 of Flushing-New Athens Rd., Flushing, Ohio went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, March 12, 2003. He was born June 19, 1928 in Wellsburg, WV. A son of the late Everett Dale Watson, Sr. and Mignon Cox Watson

He was a retired employee of Consolidation Coal and Cravat Coal, a Navy veteran of WWII, a member of the East Richland Evangelical Friends Church, Flushing American Legion Post 366, and the United Mine Worker?s Association.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Virginia Knight Watson; a son, Harry William Watson; a brother, Harry William Watson, and his uncle and aunt Alvin and Lillie Cox who raised him.

He will be sadly missed by his daughters, Mrs. Ron "Beverly" Morgan of St.Clairsville and Theresa Dornbush of Bloomingdale; daughter-in-law, Mary Watson of Flushing; sisters, Maxine Leggitt and Lucille Skinner of Hopedale, and Clovetta Hanson of Belpre; a brother, Alvie Watson of Atkinson, Nebraska; grandchildren, Timmie Mann, Deanne Dornbush, Carrie Fijalkowski, Bill Dornbush, Jenni Watson, Jamie Kerns, Ryan Watson and Ron Morgan, Jr.; 13 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St.Clairsville where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday with Rev. Wayne Ickes officiating. Burial follows in the Unionport Cemetery.

Full military graveside honors will be conducted by the Flushing American Legion Post 366.
