Obituary

Robert Dale Dunfee, 77 of Jacobsburg, Ohio died Thursday, January 27, 2005 at Wheeling Hospital

He was born at Jacobsburg on February 25, 1927 a son of the late Robert James Dunfee and Lida Kanzigg Dunfee.

Dale was a former employee of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel?s Benwood plant, former owner/operator of Dale?s Barber Shop at Centerville and Glencoe and a retired employee of the Ohio Edison R.E. Burger Plant at Dilles Bottom. He was a former Smith Township Clerk, a former member of the Smith Township Volunteer Fire Department a member of Weyer Lodge #541 F.& A.M. at Centerville and an Army veteran of the Korean War.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers William Eugene Dunfee and James Laverne Dunfee and sisters Stella Carpenter and Nada Trigg.

Surviving are his wife Betty Stonebraker Dunfee; his son James O. Dunfee and his wife Sue of Centerville; a brother Roy Dunfee of Jacobsburg; a sister Eleanor Dunfee of Jacobsburg and granddaughters Lisa and Stacey Dunfee.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg where services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Don Cordery officiating. Burial will follow in Powhatan Cemetery.

Masonic services will be Sunday at 6:30 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Smith Township Volunteer Fire Department.
