Dakkota Ryshell "Kota" Ramsay, 23 of Blaine, Ohio formerly of Jacobsburg died Friday, September 4, 2020 at Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, WV.

She was born May 29, 1997 in Bellaire, Ohio.

She is survived by her mother, Chasity (Randy Amoroso) Ramsay of Jacobsburg; her father, Mike (Jody Beck) Funkhouser, Sr. of Bridgeport; her daughter, Briar Dawn Ramsay; her partner in life and father of Briar Dawn, Matthew Duffy of Blaine; siblings, Brianna Ramsay of Wheeling, Michael Funkhouser, Jr. of Bridgeport, Nevaeh Hayes of Jacobsburg, and Ezekiel Funkhouser of Bridgeport; maternal grandparents, Randy and Connie Ramsay of Jacobsburg;  maternal great grandmother, Violet Ramsay of Jacobsburg; paternal grandparents, James and Linda Funkhouser of Bridgeport; step paternal grandmother, Phyllis Amoroso of Dillonvale; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and her best friend , her dog Duke.

She was preceded in death by her uncle, Jamie Funkhouser.

Kota adored her daughter and fought hard to be the mother she always wanted to be. She also had a passion for drawing.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, social distancing and face coverings are required during the visitation at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jeff Lewis officiating. Burial follows in Powhatan Cemetery, Powhatan Point, Ohio.
