Cynthia Sue "Cindy" Hess, 81, of St. Clairsville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.  She was born October 29, 1943 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a daughter of the late George R. and Peggy Lee Howell Reline.

Cynthia was a retired LPN from Barnesville Hospital with 30 years of service.  She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and enjoyed gardening and flowers.  She and her husband loved to go fishing, travelling and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her loving husband of 64 years, Louis K. "LK" Hess, Jr. of St. Clairsville; her children, William "Bill" (Elaine) Hess of Shadyside, Ohio, Brett Hess and Tamara "Tammy" (Tracy) Hess both of St. Clairsville; a brother, Greg Reline of St. Clairsville; four grandchildren, Joseph Glackin, Matthew Glackin, Bill Hess, Jr. and Lindsay Hess; four great grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 10 am until time of funeral services at 12 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with Rev. Homer Harden officiating.  Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
