Cynthia Elaine Donaldson, 77, of St. Clairsville, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Wheeling Hospital.  She was born October 4, 1948 in Bridgeport, Ohio, a daughter of the late Harold Paul and Lorena Gertrude Merrill Tyler.

Cynthia was a homemaker and a Christian by faith.  She was a past volleyball player in a league at Friends Church, St. Clairsville High School graduate of 1967, a girls basketball player while riding a donkey and a Sports/Choir and Band Parent.  She enjoyed riding horses and motorcycles.  She loved being an artist in painting and wood working.  But most of all, she was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Pauline and Robert " Stumpy" Donaldson; mother-in-law, Viola (Henry) Pitts; two sister-in-laws, Carol (Paul) Logan, Joy Cunningham and a grandson, Robert Harris Donaldson.

Surviving are her husband, Glenn E. Donaldson, Sr.; her children, Glenn E. "Peanut" (Meredyth) Donaldson, Jr., Lanita Rae (James) Hudson, Erica Elaine Donaldson, Lorena "Lori" (Chris) Nelson, Stephen Paul (Nikki) Donaldson, Christopher Michael (Bree) Donaldson and Justin Lee Donaldson; a brother, Michael S. "Mickey" Tyler; 19 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sandra Blackmon; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, December 20, from 10 am until time of funeral service at 12 noon at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with Pastor Tyron Spencer officiating.  Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
