A poem written by Curtis: "My Friends"

My friends, I can?t be with you, For my life is fading fast. The race is almost over, And I?m gonna come in last. So will you please forgive me, As it seems I won?t be there. But my thoughts are always with you, And I remember you in prayer. So raise a glass on my behalf, And keep your spirits high. And know that I?ll be with you, In our home beyond the sky. So shed no bitter tears for me My life has been a blast. But the race is almost over, And I?m gonna come in last.
