Curtis P. Koshenka, 58, of Neffs, Ohio, died March 20, 2018 at his home.
He was born August 17, 1959 in Wheeling, West Virginia, a son of the late William Joseph Koshenka and Grace Pauline Norris Koshenka.
Curtis was a maintenance foreman for AEP Cardinal Plant in Brilliant, Ohio. He was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Neffs. He was an avid fisherman and member of the St. Clairsville Bassmasters; the Neffs Rod and Gun Club; the Lansing Sportsman's Club and social member of Neffs American Legion Post 77.
In addition to his parents, Curtis was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Marie Gibas Koshenka; twin brothers, Jeffrey Mark and Gregory Allen Koshenka; a sister, Jody Johnson and brother-in-law, Ron Gibas.
Surviving are two brothers, Thomas (Debbie) Koshenka of Bellaire and Douglas (Carrie) Koshenka of Piedmont, Ohio; a brother-in-law, Jeff Johnson of Bellaire; two sisters-in-law, Carol (Mike) Chiricuzio of Pittsburg, California and Andrea Gibas of North Canton, Ohio; nieces, Sarah Noll of Hinkley, Ohio, Courtney Koshenka Brown of Warwood, WV; nephews, Kyle and Logan Koshenka both of Athens, Ohio; a great nephew, Cole Brown.
Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. with a vigil service at 8:45 p.m.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church in Neffs with Father Dan Heusel the celebrant. Burial will follow in Warnock Cemetery.
