Connie Lynn Vorhies, 62, of Bannock, Ohio, died November 10, 2024, in Wheeling Hospital. She was born August 1, 1962, in Barnesville, Ohio.

Connie was a retired secretary for the Belmont County Prosecutors' Office. She was a 1979 graduate of St. Clairsville High School. Spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, was her top priority. She also enjoyed crafting, spending time outdoors and helping others.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pauline Jean Heskett Pickens and Carl Thomas Pickens; her grandparents that raised her, Arlo and Velma Heskett; aunt, Shirley Kirkpatrick Sanders; and cousin, Denise Kirkpatrick.

Connie is survived by her two daughters, Carrie (Derek) Kenneally and Sherry (Colt) Toto; four grandchildren, Kendra and Austin Kenneally and Kylie and Haley Wood; her former husband and lifelong friend, Marvin Vorhies; siblings, John Higgenbotham, Sandra (David) Jackson, Kim (Rich) Spano and Kevin (Kim)Frakowski; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio, where services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m., with Pastor Nathan McKeen officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
