Constance "Connie"  Marie Shutek, 87, of Dublin, OH, formerly from St. Clairsville, OH, went home to her dear Lord and Savior on Friday, March 24, 2023.

She was born April 9, 1935 in Wheeling, WV, daughter of the late Andrew Goletz and Mary Sie Goletz.

Connie was a 1952 graduate of St. Joseph Academy in Wheeling, WV.  She was a bookkeeper at Charles M. Sledd Company.  She is a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, a former member of the Catholic Women's Club, volunteer manager of St. Mary's Church bingo, and volunteer at Oglebay Zoo. Connie was also known for her love of gardening.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. Edward Shutek; daughter, Deborah Jackson; brother, Andrew Goletz; and grandson, Alex Shutek.

Surviving are her three children, Edward (Carolann) Shutek of Dublin, OH; Judith Hollingshead of Dublin, OH and Richard (Sabrina) Shutek of Grafton, OH; six grandchildren, Emily, Stephanie, Sommer, Cody, Matthew, and Shealyn; and four great grandchildren.

Viewing with Mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clairsville on Wednesday from 10 am until Mass at 11 am with Father Thomas Chillog as celebrant.  Family burial will follow at Union Cemetery in St. Clairsville.  Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Miracle Foundation, Ohio Health Hospice, or St. Mary's Catholic Church.
