Obituary
Connie J. Melet, 63 of Brady Ave., Steubenville died Monday, February 3, 2003 at her home. She was born February 13, 1939 in Fairpoint a daughter of the late Leo Stachyra and Virginia Shores Stachyra.
She was a Catholic by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Patsy Melet; a brother, Richard "Dick" Stachyra and a stepson, David Melet.
Surviving are two sisters, June Jones and Patricia (Tom) Leonard of Fairpoint; a brother, Edmond Stachyra (Dolly) of Steubenville and two stepsons, Joey and Jerry Melet of Nashville, Tennessee.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St.Clairsville where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday with Father Thomas Graven officiating. Burial follows in Union Cemetery, St.Clairsville.
