Obituary
Connie R. McGilton, 78, of Englewood, Ohio formerly of Glencoe, died July 18, 2017 in Cypress Pointe Health Center.
She was born in St. Clairsville, Ohio January 3, 1939, a daughter of the late Robert W. Hines and Sarah B. Lynn Hines.
Connie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed work around the house and gardening.
In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald L. McGilton; a daughter, Rebecca Lynn Planey and a son-in-law, James Planey.
Surviving are her son, Dr. Ronald (Melissa) McGilton of Englewood, Ohio; a daughter, Roberta (Keith) Tedder of Walkertown, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Ashley Bohall, Brianne Johnson, Michael Planey, Sydney McGilton, Noah McGilton and Samantha McGilton; five great grandchildren, Adelyn Bohall, Jayden, Jaylynne, Jayana and Jaycee Johnson.
Friends and family will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mark Statler officiating. Burial will follow in Glencoe Cemetery.
