Orr, Clem B., 79, of Bannock, died Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at Park Health Center in St. Clairsville.

He was born in Piedmont, Ohio on June 5, 1928, a son of the late Albert Leslie Orr and Lydia E. Frances Orr.

Clem was a retired coal miner from Oglebay Norton Saginaw and Valley Camp mines and a former employee of Picoma Industries. He was a Methodist by faith; and a U. S. Army veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Jeffrey Neal Orr; a brother; and two sisters.

Surviving are his wife, Betty Jean Loy Orr; a son, Hubert "Bud" Orr and his wife Jill of East Richland; a daughter, Rita Gibbons and her husband James of Bloomingdale; four grandchildren, Eric Charles Orr, Scott Lee Parsons, Josh Lee Parsons and Jennifer Marie Orr; a great granddaughter, Katelyn E. Orr; a special brother and friend, Leslie Orr of Cadiz; seven additional brothers and sisters; and an aunt, Veda Stevens of Barnesville.

Private Services were held on Friday at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, with Rev. Robert Merritt officiating. Full Military services were conducted by the Belmont County Council of American Legions. Burial followed in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
