Obituary
JOSEFCZYK, Clarence Richard "Rich", 81, of Maynard, Ohio, died Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
He was born in Midway, Ohio on July 1, 1930, son of the late Stanley and Florence Shrieve Josefczyk.
Rich was retired from Ormet Corporation. He was a member of Maynard United Methodist Church. He played baseball for Maynard for over 25 years; he was a member of the Berlin Airlift Historical Foundation; and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, Rich was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Kull.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Riddle Josefczyk; three daughters, Trudy (Stanley) Kowalcyk of Maynard, Diane (Don) Getman of Moorehead City, North Carolina and Jill (Gary) Scypta of Plymouth, Michigan; four grandchildren, Kim Kafana, Holly Neal, Drew Getman and Lindsay Scypta; four great grandchildren, J'Lyse Kafana, Walker and Andrew Neal and Hunter Getman; a sister, Rita (Lanny) Walters of Maynard; nieces, nephews and Missy.
Family and friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville where services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. with Scott Black officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Maynard Methodist Church.
