Clarence J. Ramsay, 90, of St. Clairsville, Ohio passed away at his home on Monday, July 15, 2024.  He was born December 17, 1933 in Key, Ohio, a son of the late Clarence E. and Ella Lucille Giffen Ramsay.

Clarence was owner and operator of Ramsay Electric and worked as maintenance supervisor for the former City Hospital in Bellaire.  He was a Methodist by faith and a U.S. Army Veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Surviving are his loving wife of 69 years, Shirley M. Greenwood Ramsay of St. Clairsville; his children, Brian L. (Julie) Ramsay of Fort Myers, Florida and June A. Ramsay of State College, Pennsylvania; six grandchildren, Drew A. (Aly) Ramsay, BriAnne A. Ramsay, Jackson Rine, Forest Ramsay, Ivy Ramsay and McKinley Arctor; two great grandchildren, Laken and Magnolia.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville from 9-11 am and 1 pm until time of funeral services at 3 pm with Chaplain Kris Bright officiating.  Full Military Honors will be conducted by the Belmont County Veterans Association.  Private inurnment will take place at Belmont County Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
