Clara Rose Neiswanger, 84, of Cambridge, Ohio passed away September 6, 2020 under hospice care at Morrison House in Zanesville, Ohio.

She was born October 23, 1935 in Bellaire, Ohio, a daughter of the late Franklin P. Funkhouser and Anna R. Brown Funkhouser.

Clara worked as an LPN for nearly 30 years. She was a member of the Quaker City Church of Christ in Quaker City. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was a very kind and generous person, always reaching out to those in need while rarely asking for any help in return.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth L. Neiswanger; a son, Charles F. Neiswanger and a brother, George Funkhouser.

Surviving are her daughter, Margaret J. "Peggy" (Russell) Postlethwait; two granddaughters, Anna R. (Tyler) Hughes and Hope R. (Chris Ruiz) Petersen; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Carl E. Funkhouser and several nephews and cousins.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Wilbur Thurman Bragg officiating.  Burial will be in Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain, Ohio.
