Clara L. Dunfee, 91, of Bellaire, Ohio died January 30, 2020 in the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Wheeling, WV surrounded by loved ones.

She was born October 2, 1928 in Jacobsburg, Ohio, a daughter of the late Sylvan Guy Palmer and Mamie Loretta Burns Palmer.

Clara was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and Christian by faith.  She enjoyed gardening, working in her yard, watching birds, working on jigsaw puzzles and word searches.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Dunfee; four brothers, Bill, Bob, Don and Larry Palmer; and three sisters, Irene Palmer, Carol Scarfpin and Sharon Littleton.

Surviving are her three daughters, Jeanine Dowdy of Virginia Beach, VA, Robin Dunfee of Bellaire, OH and Penny (Mark) Davis of Columbus, OH; a stepdaughter, Barbara (George) Koch of Morganville, NJ; four sisters, Mary Moore, Shirley Bell, Edna Fulton and Neva Robinson; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, Ohio where services will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. with Rev. Linda Crew officiating.  Burial will follow in Armstrong Cemetery, Armstrongs Mills, Ohio.
