Christopher Sighmond Mathews, 16 of Neffs, Ohio died Tuesday, April 14, 2015.
He was born August 27, 1998 in Wheeling, WV., a son of Aaron Joseph Burch of Bellaire and Brandy S. Mathews Burdine of Glencoe.
Chris was a student at the Belmont Career Center in St. Clairsville. He enjoyed hunting, dirt bikes, and four wheel drives.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Naomi Mathews, Everett Dean Hartley, Sr., and Margaret Pegg.
Surviving in addition to his parents, are his stepfather, Robert Burdine III of Glencoe; grandparents, Ethel Mathews and Dean Hartley, Jr. of Neffs, Richard and Linda Gust of Bellaire, James Mathews of Cameron, WV., Sue and Chic Helms of Jacobsburg; great grandfather, Babe Mathews of Cameron, WV.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Saturday from 12 to 2 p.m. and from 5 p.m. until time of service 8 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Lewis officiating.
