Christine Louise Kaplet, 82, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Wheeling Hospital.

She was born April 13, 1941, in London, England, a daughter of the late Walter L. King and Josephine Johanna Loughnane King.

Christine was a loving wife, mother, sister and aunt. She was a member of Thoburn United Methodist Church and a volunteer at the Belmont County Animal Shelter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael and Richard King.

Christine is survived by her husband, George R. Kaplet; a daughter, Michelle L. Kaplet of Stuart, Florida; a son, John M. Kaplet of St. Clairsville; a sister, Josephine Isvoranu of San Francisco, California; a brother, Gerald King of Brick, New Jersey; beloved nieces and nephews, Malani (Isaac) Khelif, Noelani (Kevin) Zachary, Jessica (T.R.) Ridilla, Natalie, Sean, and Ian.

Family and friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio, on Sunday from 2 p.m. until time of service at 4 p.m., with Rev. Kevin Rinkes officiating.
