Christie Lee Wehr, 73 of Lafferty, Ohio died March 15, 2022, at her home.

She was born December 27, 1948, in Columbus, Ohio, a daughter of the late Edward and Helen McMillen Fagan.

Christie worked in security and at the food stamp office in Columbus. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clairsville and also a life member and past president of VFW Post #5356 auxiliary and Post #9473 auxiliary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret Ramsey and Jeanne LaFever, and a brother, Edward Fagan.

Christie is survived by her loving husband, Francis E. "Shorty" Wehr, Sr.; children, Robert C. Richards, Francis E. (Shannon) Wehr, and Jennifer K. (Doug) Miller; grandchildren, Waytt Wehr, Lily Runyan, Kimberly Wehr, Zacc Coleman, and Anastasia Coleman; great-grandchildren, Anabella, Payton, Adrian and Penny; and several nieces, nephews and Roberta Morales.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville where services will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. with Fr. Thomas Chillog officiating. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Bethesda, Ohio.
