William L. "Chip" Williams III, 68, of St. Clairsville, OH; passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, OH. He was born March 20, 1957, in Pittsburgh, PA, son of the late William L. Williams Jr. and Ruth B. Sansbury Williams.

Chip was a former Deputy Sheriff for Belmont County for 30 years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police #6. He was always willing to help out anybody who needed it.

Chip is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Sandra K. Semancik Williams; and children, Brian, Robert (Sylvia) and Amber Williams.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville from 2 p.m. until time of services at 4 p.m. with Rev. Mark Zelewicz officiating.
