Charles George Zaleski, 86, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died October 2, 2023, in Select Specialty Hospital in Wheeling, West Virginia.

He was born May 19, 1937, in Stewartsville, Ohio, a son of the late Charles Joseph Zaleski and Virginia Miller Zaleski.

Charles was a retired Staff Seargeant from the U.S. Marine Corps and U. S. Army serving over 40 years. He was a 1955 graduate of Bellaire High School.

Surviving are his loving wife of 64 years, Rosalie Elizabeth Kopas Zaleski and two children, Micahlene Zaleski and Chad Zaleski.

Private services were held at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville with Full Military Honors conducted by the Belmont County Veterans Association and funeral services officiated by Father Daniel Heusel. Burial was in Belmont County Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Clairsville.
