Obituary

Charles "Bud" "Chuck" Timko, 63, of Key, Ohio died Oct. 14, 2017 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Wheeling, West Virginia on April 22, 1954, son of the late Andrew and Mary Kasonovich Timko. Bud was a retired utility worker from First Energy and a farmer. He was a Catholic by faith. Chuck was a member of the Farm Bureau and enjoyed bull riding, tractors, pulling trucks, semi-trucks and cattle farming. In addition to his parents and grandparents, he was preceded in death by aunts, Mary Timko and Sally Obara; his grandogger, Annie Mae; and beloved pets, Rex, Gus and Julie. Surviving are his loving wife, Suzanne Krebs Timko; three children, Heather (Patrick) Phillips, C.J. Timko Jr. and Ashley (Jack) Sutton; two grandchildren, Jaxon and Alexis Sutton; and his mother-in-law, Carol Krebs. Friends and family will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, Ohio where services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with John Krebs officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Belmont County Animal Shelter. Bud's family wants everyone who attends the visitation or service to dress in jeans and a casual shirt.
