Charles Henry Schuler, 70 of Pomeroy, Ohio formerly of Lafferty, OH died Wednesday, August 27, 2003 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born March 2, 1933 at Cheshire, Ohio a son of the late Charles Arthur and Evelyn Mary Denny Schuler.
He was a retired employee of Marietta Coal Co. and a Protestant by faith.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Schuler and Nancy Van Meter.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Belle Faber Schuler; his children, Susie Wilkins of Council Bluff, IA; twins, Jean Marie Keller of Dilles Bottom and Charles Eugene Schuler of Texas; David Lee Schuler of South Carolina; Rosemary Shippy of Piedmont; Norman Arthur Schuler of Gaston, SC; Randall Henry Schuler; Pollyanna Strupe of Coshocton; Tamatha Lynn Blasko of Dayton; Daryl Thomas Schuler of Rutland, OH and Angel Darlene Schuler of Flushing; brothers and sisters, Evelyn Haley of Glen Dale; twin brother, James Schuler of Rutland, OH; John Schuler of Rutland, OH; Jean LaFleur of Virginia and Jane Elbin of Bedwell, OH; twenty nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Friends will be received Friday 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville where services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. with Pastor Gary Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens at Pleasant Grove.
