Neitzelt, Charles Edward, Jr., 81 of Wheeling, WV died Saturday, February 26, 2011 at his home.
He was born January 9, 1930 in Glencoe, Ohio, a son of the late Charles E. Neitzelt and Mary Margaret Pierce Neitzelt.
He was a retired employee of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steels Yorkville Plant, an Army veteran of the Korean War, a member of Glencoe American Legion Post # 632, and member of SOAR Local 23-8.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Neitzelt, and a sister, Irene Saffell Yoho.
Surviving are his wife, Lois Rozanski Neitzelt; four children, Linda (Frank) Ernest of Valley Grove, WV, Edward Louis Neitzelt of Valley Grove, WV, Lisa (Brian) Kunze of Fairview, WV, and Laura Molnar of Wheeling; a brother, Marvin Neitzelt of St. Clairsville; four grandchildren, Doug & Darrell Ernest, Nick & Beth Molnar; five great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Monday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. where services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. William Ridenhour officiating. Burial follows in Glencoe Cemetery.
Belmont County Council of American Legions will provide full military honors at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
