Charles R. Meske's Obituary
Charles R. Meske, 90, of St. Clairsville died Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Peterson Rehabilitation Hospital in Wheeling.
He was born November 13, 1924 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, son of the late Eric Otto Meske and Clara Vera Miller Meske.
Charles was a retired draftsman for the Belmont County Engineers. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in St. Clairsville where he and his wife Mary Luyster Meske were married. He was a former member of Barb's Boys and the Triple State Amateur Radio Club.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Luyster Meske; and a half sister, Betty Swan.
Surviving are his daughter, LuAnn Kennedy and her husband William Phipps of St. Clairsville and his son, Richard Meske of Columbus.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville where Services will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Homer Harden officiating. Burial will follow in Belmont County Memorial Park, St. Clairsville.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 110 S. Marietta Street, St. Clairsville, Ohio 43950.
