McFADDEN, Charles T., 89, of Jacobsburg, Ohio, died October 28, 2010 in Shadyside Care Center.
He was born November 21, 1920 in Jacobsburg, son of the late Colvin A. McFadden and Emma Louise Keith McFadden.
Charles was a farmer and member of Old Wegee Methodist Church. He was a 67 year member and Past Master of Weyer Lodge # 541 F. & A.M. at Centerville; a member of Scottish Rite Bodies Valley of Steubenville; Weyer Chapter # 515 O.E.S. at Centerville; Osiris Shrine in Wheeling; Royal Arch Masons of Ohio Bellaire Chapter 107 and Royal and Select Masons of Ohio Council 87 in Bellaire; and Hope Commandry K.T. # 26 in Bridgeport.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Eldon; three brothers, Henry, Herman and Bill McFadden; three sisters, Martha McFadden, Sylvia Montgomery and Elizabeth Kirkland.
Surviving are his loving wife of 65 years, Valgene B. Givens McFadden; three daughters, Eulanda Morris of Oregon, Phoebe Ricotti of Arizona and Delores Runyan of Jacobsburg; two sons, C. Vernon McFadden of Columbus, Ohio and Kevin McFadden of Oregon; six grandchildren, four step grandchildren; three great grandchildren and nine step great grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Sunday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. with Masonic Services scheduled at 6 p.m. and OES Services at 6:15. Services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Theresa Bobot and Pastor Larry Helms officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Hill Cemetery, Bellaire.
