Charles Edward Marshall passed away May 23, 2021 at Liza's Place in Wheeling, WV. He was 81 years old.

He was born May 19, 1940 in Lansing, Ohio, the son of the late Homer and Mildred Raber Marshall.

Charles was a retired ironworker of Local 549 in Wheeling and a Baptist by faith. He was a fan of the Cleveland Indians, he loved to listen to music, watch TV, play cards and tell jokes.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Paul "Butch" and Dwayne; a daughter, Cheryl Lynn; two brothers, Bob and Roger; two sisters, Gloria Dean Ritter and Ruth Ann Marconi.

Surviving are his loving wife of 56 years, Sharon B. Milligan Marshall; a daughter, Melissa A. Marshall (Jerry) Smigle of Bridgeport; a grandson, Brandon of Columbus; a granddaughter, Allura of Apison, Tennessee; two brothers, Willard of St. Clairsville and Victor of Bridgeport; two sisters, Rose Ellen Bailer and Lois Sharon Morris of Moundville, Alabama; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio on Thursday from 1 p.m. until time of service at 4 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Jerry Wenger officiating.
