Charles S. "Chip" Young, 51, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died at his home Thursday, April 20, 2006. He was born in Pasadena, California on October 1, 1954, son of Earl S. "Bud" Young and Nancy Carter Young.
He was employed at Belco Works in St. Clairsville. Chip was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in St. Clairsville and he enjoyed volunteering at the St. Clairsville Food Pantry.
He is survived by his parents, Earl "Bud" and Nancy Carter Young of St. Clairsville; a brother, Richard (Margie) Young of St. Clairsville; two nephews, David (Karen) Young of Michigan and Kevin Young of St. Clairsville; an aunt, Jean (Bill) Appel of Michigan; three great nieces and cousins.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where services will be held on Monday at 12 Noon with Rev. Homer Harden officiating. Entombment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens.
