Obituary

Charles Kenneth Boger, of St Clairsville, Ohio, passed away in comfort in the loving arms of his family on May 16, 2018.

Charles was born January 14, 1935 and lived in Powhatan Point until he met Marilyn, the love of his life, and moved to Cameron, Ohio where he raised his family before going on to St. Clairsville to be closer to his grandchildren.

Charles served his country in the US Air Force. He retired from Bayer Corporation after 40 years of employment. He was a man of great faith and a dedicated member of the St Clairsville Church of Christ. Charles was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was a good friend and loved and respected by all who knew him.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Nada Boger, and a brother, Donald.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Marilyn (Ault) Boger; his three daughters, Debra (Emmett Boyle) Boger, Michele (Willie) Glasgow and Stacey Cannon; six grandchildren who were the lights of his life, Erica and Justin Glasgow and Alex, Logan, Tori and Cole Cannon; his sister Joyce (Mike) Smith and brother Ronald (Linda) Boger; and many more nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and special friends.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Saturday from 2 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. with Brad Schrum officiating.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Charles' memory be made to the St Clairsville Church of Christ, 47694 Reservoir Rd, St Clairsville, Ohio 43950.
