Chadwick (Chad) Scott Gillespie, 60, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died peacefully on July 10, 2026, at Liza’s Place in Wheeling, West Virginia.

Chad was born November 16, 1965, a beloved son of Ralph and Linda (Long) Gillespie.

In addition to his parents, Chad is survived by his brother Chris (Lori) Gillespie, niece Ashley (Jamie) Paglilunga, great niece, Adilyn, Fur Babies Willie and Calvin along with many family and friends. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

Chad graduated from St. Clairsville High School in 1984 where he enjoyed playing in the band and made lifelong friends. After high school, he graduated from Ohio Diesel College and worked in that profession for many years. He was a member of the Thoburn UMC, the Bethesda Farmers and Sportsman Club where he enjoyed fellowship with the members, and a lifetime member of the Harrison County Lil Hustlers Pulling Club.

Cremation is taking place, and in honoring Chad’s wishes no memorial service will be held.
