Cathy Lynn Baker, 61 of Hamilton, Ohio, died on June 22, 2020 in Bethesda North Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio.

She was born February 5, 1959 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, daughter of the late Donald and Lois Blum Baker.

Cathy was a 1977 graduate of Martins Ferry High School and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Education Degree specializing in troubled children from Union Institute of Cincinnati. She was a tutor and teacher's aide and worked at The Children's Home in Cincinnati, OH and in Wheeling, WV. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Martins Ferry. Cathy was a drummer and a big fan of Melissa Manchester, she also enjoyed horror movies, special effects and make-up.

Surviving are her brother, Don Baker of Martins Ferry; her partner, Diane Ziegler of Hamilton, OH; her uncles and numerous cousins in the Martins Ferry, Woodsfield, and Wheeling area.

All are welcome to attend a Graveside Service at Riverview Cemetery in Martins Ferry, Ohio on Friday, July 3, 2020 at 1 p.m. with Rev. David Demarest officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, OH.
