Sindeldecker, Catherine Elenna, 90, of St. Clairsville, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008 at Country Club Retirement Center in Bellaire. She was born Jan. 15, 1918 in Barton, Ohio, daughter of the late Elwood E. and Emma Schwender Donley.
Catherine was a homemaker; a member of Thoburn United Methodist Church in St. Clairsville; a member of the Year Round Quilters; the South St. C. Extension Club and the American Legion Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Brady Sindeldecker; a sister, Shirley Sindeldecker; two brothers, Paul Donley and Elwood Edward Donley.
Surviving are her son, James Richard "Skip" Sindeldecker of Zephyrhills, Florida; three sisters, Emma Decrease of Moundsville, Rose Jafrate of Benwood and Delores Fogle of Elm Grove; two brothers, Richard Donley of Siklerville, NJ and Robert Donley of St. Clairsville; five grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where services will be held on Sunday at 1:30 p.m., with the Reverend Dr. Bradley Call officiating. Burial will follow in Greenmont Cemetery in Freeport.
