Bradford, Catherine R., 88, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Friday, November 20, 2009 in Wheeling Hospital.

She was born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on February 8, 1921, daughter of the late Elmer P. Rice and Verna Feist Rice.

Catherine was a retired registered nurse from St. Luke?s Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and the American Red Cross. She was a member of Vance Memorial Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas P. Bradford; a grandson Douglas Bradford; and a brother, Curtis Rice.

She is survived by her son, Thomas P. (Terri) Bradford, Jr. of St. Clairsville, Ohio; grandsons, Thomas Patrick Bradford and Nicholas J. Bradford; and two brothers, Paul Rice of California and Carl Rice of Arizona.

Private services were held at the convenience of the family. Burial was in Union Cemetery in St. Clairsville.

Arrangements were entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
