Caroline Marie “Snooks” Tomlinson, 75, of Powhatan Point, Ohio, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born November 23, 1950, in Bellaire, Ohio, daughter of the late LeRoy “Dutch” and Violet Williams Brunner.

Caroline was a retired employee from Rescare and had worked previously at the Belmont Habilitation Center, where she spent many years taking care of others. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be missed by all who loved her. Snooks loved spending time with her family, who were her greatest joy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Danny Tomlinson; her mother and father-in-law, Marjorie “Pudge” and Clinton “Schnoz” Tomlinson; brother-in-law Brady Baker; sister-in-law, Patty Tomlinson; nephew Eric Baker; and a niece Jill Baker.

Snooks is survived by her daughter Gretchen Wilson; grandsons, Kyile Wilson and Garrett Wilson; sister, Dian Baker; brother, Mickey Brunner; sisters-in-law, Diddy (Ralph) Delaney and Debbie (Kenny) Holt; a brother-in-law, Sonny (Diane) Tomlinson and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, April 29th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, Ohio, where services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m., with Pastor Ron Wilfong officiating. The burial will follow in Powhatan Cemetery.
