Carole Elizabeth Vincent, 78, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died May 9, 2023, in Wheeling Hospital.

She was born March 29, 1945, in New Jersey, a daughter of the late Robert and Helen Johnson.

Carole was a retired cook from the Alpha in Wheeling. She was a 1963 Bellaire High School graduate and a member of the First Baptist Church in St. Clairsville. Carole was an avid bowler, enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles and loved watching her Atlanta Braves baseball team.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Vincent; a daughter, Cassandra Alexander; a granddaughter Cherell; three brothers, Bobby, Howard, and Louis Johnson; three sisters, Roberta Green, Judy Fair and Sharon Johnson; and three brothers-in-law, Jeremiah Green, James Brown and James Freeman.

Carole is survived by four children, Sharon Vincent, Joe Vincent, Wayne Vincent and Shawn (Jodi) Vincent; son-in-law, Bubba Alexander; two sisters, Mary Ann Jeter and Audrey (Daniel) Rice; three brothers, Gary (Donna), Rodney (Beth) and Artis (Orencia) Johnson; 12 grandchildren, Chace, Brenden, Tionna, Kelsey (Trent), Jasmine, Jordan, Ashley, Marcus, Anthony, Amber, Brittany and Drew; and 14 great grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio, on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12 p.m., with the Rev. Carl Denson officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
