Carol Jean Zemba, 78, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Liza's Place of Valley Hospice, Wheeling, West Virginia. She was born June 28, 1947, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a daughter of the late Mary Hanas Boone and Walter Logan Boone II.

Carol was a retired factory worker for the Mobay Chemical Company in New Martinsville, West Virginia. She enjoyed crafts, pictures, gardening and collecting imperial glass. She thoroughly enjoyed going to thrift stores and tracking her family history. She was a member of the Rock Hill Presbyterian Church in Bellaire, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Boone; and her Godson, Coley Boone.

She is survived by her two sons, Todd (Ashley) and Michael Zemba; two grandchildren, Peyton and Owen Zemba; two brothers, Walter Logan (Maggie) Boone III, Chris (Tina) Boone; and one sister, Patty (Mike) Trissler.

As per her wishes, no visitation or funeral services are planned. Final arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family.
