Obituary
VanHorn, Vivian Carol, 69 of Belmont, Ohio died Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Cumberland Point Care Center, St. Clairsville.
She was born in Goshen Township, Belmont County on April 20, 1942 a daughter of the late Earl Kennard Kinney and Bessie Rosanna Jarrett Kinney.
Carol was a homemaker, a Protestant by faith and a member of the Belmont Better Hunting and Fishing Club.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers; Gerald, Norman and Burl Kinney.
She is survived by her husband, Lewis R. VanHorn; daughters Debra (Keith) Brownfield of Barnesville, Ohio and Kellie Wells of Belmont, Ohio; sons, Jeffrey Lewis VanHorn of Morristown, Ohio and Patrick Kevin VanHorn of Bluffton, SC; brothers, Arthur and Bruce Kinney both of Belmont; a sister, Karen Swallie of Belmont; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville, Ohio on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. where services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Brent Hopper officiating. Burial will follow in Chestnut Level Cemetery, Belmont.
