Carol S. Nida, 75, of Lafferty, OH., died Thursday, December 2, 2021 at her home.  She was born October 25, 1946 in Bellaire, OH., a daughter of the late Henry Alvin and Eileen Elizabeth Dornon Glover.

Carol was a retired custodian for the Union Local School District and a member of the Bannock United Methodist Church and a member of TOPS for 30 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Edward Nida in 2009; a granddaughter, Kassidy Phillips; a sister, Kathy Jo Strahl.

Surviving are her children, Albert "Ed" Phillips of Belmont, OH., Leanna Briggs of Lafferty, Tabitha (Chuckie) Wilson of Nashville, TN., Lewis Edward Nida, Jr. of Wheeling, WV; siblings, Nada Hanes of Centerville, OH., Gary (Donna) Glover of Steubenville, OH and Donna Marie (Wray) Jackson of Belmont; grandchildren, Dustin (Jessica) Phillips, Michelle (Brett) Brunner and Cory (Kaitlin) Phillips, Corey (Ashley) Nida, Lewis Nida, III, Heather Schmidt, Chuckie Wilson, Piper Nida, Cylis Nida and Justin Brandon; 20 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 9 am until time of service at 11 am at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with Pastor Al Hoder officiating.  Burial will follow in Park View Memorial Gardens, Wheeling, WV.
