Mrs. Carmella J. Reass, age 86, of Billings, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2011, in her home with family at her side. She was born June 14, 1925, in Bannock, Ohio, the daughter of Natoli Endrizzi and Emma Louise (Zanoni) Endrizzi Tomasini.

Carmella graduated from St. Clairsville High School, St. Clairsville, Ohio, in 1943, and was also crowned Miss St. Clairsville that same year.

She was united in marriage to George W. Reass on September 2, 1944. A homemaker in every sense of the word, Carmella enjoyed raising her two children and caring for her family.

She was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church in Moundsville, West Virginia, and attended Hood United Methodist Church in Republic, Missouri, after moving to Billings, Missouri 15 years ago. Carmella was a past member of the Order of Eastern Star, and the PEO Chapter EB.

Her parents and four siblings preceded Carmella in death.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, George, of the home; two children and their spouses, Joseph and Susan Reass, Columbus, Ohio, and Susan and Gerard Edwards, Billings, Missouri; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three siblings, Dr. Nick Endrizzi, Wheeling, West Virginia, Vincent Tomasini, Kingsport, Tennessee, and Mary Springhetti, Lafferty, Ohio; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held for Carmella from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2011 in Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville, Ohio, with a graveside service following at 3:30 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling, WVa. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.toothmanfuneralhome.com.
