Carl D. Yoho Sr., 85, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died November 10, 2018 at Forrest Hill Care Center.
He was born November 6, 1933 in Donnerville, Ohio, son of the late Emery E. and Elizabeth Lahue Yoho.
Carl was a retired truck driver from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel after 41 years. He was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church in Flushing and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, ginseng hunting and was known as the "Pieman", for his piemaking skills.
In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his wife, Betty June Lennex Barrett Yoho; a son, Carl D. Yoho Jr.; a grandson, Derek Hoffman; two brothers, Dale and Harold Yoho; three sisters, Evalou Butler, Gail Neitzelt and Donna Lamp.
Surviving are a stepdaughter, Charlene Hoffman of St. Clairsville; a sister, Shirley Tanner of Morristown; a grandson, Rich (Erika) Hoffman of Cambridge; two great granddaughters, Ava and Lily Hoffman and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville where services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Robert Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
Full Military Honors will be conducted in the cemetery by the Belmont County Veterans Association.Visitation
