Calvin R. "Babe" Roberts, 84 of Jacobsburg, Ohio died Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at his home.
He was born November 4, 1924 in Tiffin, Ohio, a son of the late Jack and Katherine Roberts.
Babe was a retired operating engineer for A&C Construction in Dilles Bottom, an Army veteran of WWII, and a Catholic.
Surviving are his wife, Joy Barnes Kinkade Roberts; five children, Dana Fularz of Carroll, Ohio, Chris Kinkade of Pickerington, Shawn Miller of Morristown, James Kinkade of Centerville, and Suzanne Perks of Richmond, Virginia; two sisters, Jane Miller of Tiffin, and Virginia Mendlein of Massillon; a brother, Donald Roberts of Tiffin; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; many nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. A private scattering ceremony will be held at the convenience of the family.
