Caleb G. Baker, 86, of Jacobsburg, Ohio died Monday, September 13, 2021 at Cumberland Point Nursing Home, St. Clairsville, Ohio.  He was born February 23, 1935 in Jacobsburg, a son of the late Clarence Guy and Freedithe Palmer Baker, Sr.

Caleb was a retired coal miner with North American Coal Company # 3 Mine and a Methodist by faith.  Caleb was a hardworking man who loved to cut grass in his spare time.  He enjoyed washing his car and was a family man.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Clarence G. "Bud" Baker, Jr., Larry Baker, James R. "Jim" Baker; four sisters, Carrell Shields, Annie Cimbanin, Betty Murphy and Essie Lawrence.

Surviving are his loving wife of 60 years, Jo Anne Keyser Baker; his children, Michelle Lynn Williams and Jeffrey Michael Baker all of Jacobsburg; four sisters, Louise Lochary, Hilda Brandon, Millie Sliwinski and Ruth Jeffers Borovich; three grandchildren, JR Williams, Hope Elizabeth Baker and Jeffrey Caleb Nelson Baker.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 11 am until time of funeral services at 1 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg with Pastor Wayne Clark officiating.  Final arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family.
