NELSON, Bruce, 60, of St. Clairsville, died Monday, October 29, 2012 in Barnesville Hospital.

He was born July 27, 1952 in Zanesville, Ohio, son of Helen White Nelson and the late Ronald L. Nelson.

Bruce was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend. He was a retired insurance claims adjuster. He was a graduate of Sheridan High School and Ohio University with a communications major. He was a member of Thoburn United Methodist Church, a member and past president of St. Clairsville Jaycees and former coach for St. C. Jr. Sports.

Surviving in addition to his mother, Helen of Somerset, Ohio are his loving wife of 36 years, Donna M. Mauck Nelson; three sons, Andy (Heather) Nelson of Huntington, West Virginia, Luke Nelson of St. Clairsville and Levi Nelson of Tallmadge, Ohio; three sisters, Lisa Cavanaugh of Somerset, Ohio, Julie Mick and Holly Ichida both of Columbus, Ohio.

Family and friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.

Visitation will continue Friday at Thoburn United Methodist Church in St. Clairsville from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m., with Rev. Dr. Bradley Call and Andy Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
