Obituary
Brice T. Bovenizer, 89, of Shadyside, Ohio died Friday, January 23, 2015 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born December 15, 1925 in Bellaire, Ohio, son of the late J. Thomas Bovenizer and Florence Brice Bovenizer.
Brice was a licensed funeral director and embalmer and owner and operator of Brice Funeral Supply. He was a member of the Lincoln Avenue United Methodist Church and the Bellaire Elks Lodge.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Baker Bovenizer; and a brother, Stewart Bovenizer.
Surviving are his daughters, Debby Bovenizer of Bridgeport and Kay Spivla of Shadyside; two grandchildren, Scot (Dena) Patt and Thomas (Brandi) Patt both of Shadyside; five great grandchildren, Lauryn, Tyler, Ian, Chloe and Darcy; and his long time companion, Marie Owens.
Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m., where services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Randy Weaver officiating. Burial will follow in Powhatan Cemetery.
