Harry Robert "Bob" McGlothlin, 67 of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Country Club Retirement Center in Bellaire, Ohio.

He was born March 4, 1949 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a son of the late Thomas Sanford McGlothlin and Minnie Bell Bush McGlothlin.

Bob was a retired coal miner from Oglebay Norton's Saginaw Mine in St. Clairsville and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Sue "Sis" Orr McGlothlin; three sisters, Mary Elizabeth, Ida Mabel "Mae", and Margery Ann "Marge"; seven brothers, John W., Odie, Thomas Jr., Lonzo "Lon", James, Alvie "Bub", and Jackie.

Surviving are four sisters, Josephine "Jo" Black of Illinois, Esther Elberts of Bellaire, Nancy Barnhart of Missouri, and Shirley Land of Missouri; many nieces and nephews; and his little dog, Peanut.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. with Pastor Dean Lancaster officiating.

Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry, Ohio.
