Obituary

Wodarcyk, Beverly Mae, 76, of Maynard Road, St. Clairsville, died Sunday, September 23, 2007 at Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling. She was born August 17, 1931 in Maynard, a daughter of the late Joseph J. Stromski and Mae Elizabeth Mills Coates.

In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by a stepfather, Ross Coates Sr. and a stepmother, Clara Stromski.

She was a former employee of K?s Food land in St. Clairsville and Reichart?s in Wheeling. Beverly was the owner of Beverly?s Cake Decorating and Candy Making Supplies. She was well known for her cake decorating and teaching cake decorating at the Belmont Career Center. She was a life long member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Maynard where she served as Eucharist Minister and a member of the Catholic Women?s Club. Bev was a member of the Maynard American Legion Auxiliary Post 666 where she served as Secretary. She was a member of the Maynard PNA # 455 where she served on the PNA Council. She was a member of TOPS.

Surviving are her loving husband of 57 years, Joseph L. Wodarcyk; a daughter, Patricia A. Johnson of Maynard; a son, Joseph P. (Lori McCort) Wodarcyk of St. Clairsville; 2 grandchildren, Jason (Courtney) and Amanda (Desi); her special great grandson, Kody; 7 sisters, Wilma (Edward) Campbell, Doris (Joseph) Ceculski, Marjorie (John) Kubancik, Jean (Tom) Schmelich, Brenda Frazier, Clara Bolen and Joan Gebhart; 6 brothers, Ronald L. (Wanda) Coates, Ross Coates Jr., Ken (Kathy) Stromski, Bob (Roberta) Stromski, Rick (Laura) Stromski and John Pruneski; numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville. A funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Maynard with Father Thomas Graven the celebrant. Entombment follows in Holly Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Pleasant Grove.

There will be a vigil service on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home. PNA Services will be held on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. with CWC Services and American Legion Auxiliary Services following.
