GRIMES, Beverly Gay, 67, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, lost her battle due to complications of a chronic illness with her husband, family and a close friend, Carole Cunnard by her side on December 11th, 2010 at Liza?s Place in Wheeling, WVa.

She was born on October 17th, 1943 at home in East Richland, Ohio. Beverly graduated from St. Clairsville High School in 1961. She married her husband William Grimes on March 17th, 1962 at East Richland Friends Church. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Her family and friends loved her witty and fun loving approach to life. She and her husband enjoyed vacationing and taking trips on their motorcycle. On August 15th, 2007, she became a proud grandmother to Gabrielle Grace Grimes. Her husband, family and friends were her life. She enjoyed spending her time talking with close friends and spoiling her granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Dickerson Frew, St. Clairsville, OH; and a nephew, Jerry Frew, Columbus, OH.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, William Grimes of St. Clairsville, OH; a son, Todd and wife Karen Grimes of St. Clairsville, OH, a son, Travis and wife Raquel Grimes of Columbus, OH; a granddaughter, Gabrielle Grimes of Columbus, OH; a brother, Jerry Frew and wife Karen of Barnesville, OH; a sister, Nancy and husband Bill Bethel of St. Clairsville, OH; three nephews, Johnny Frew of Flushing, OH, Kirk Bethel of St. Clairsville, OH and Brian Bethel of St. Clairsville, OH.

In honoring Beverly?s wishes there will be a Private Visitation for Close friends and family on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and then Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family on Wednesday at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville. Burial will be in Richland Cemetery.
